No — the Sangam boat ride is an optional add-on, not included in the base package price. A small shared boat is around ₹400, a private big boat is around ₹1,500. We arrange it on the day at the standard ghat rate — just tell us in advance and we'll plan timing around sunrise or sunset.
Roughly 30-45 minutes round trip from the ghat to the actual confluence point and back. If you plan to take a dip, allow 60-75 minutes total. Sunrise boat rides start around 5:30-6:00 AM depending on the season.
Yes — the boat ride drops you at a designated bathing platform midstream where the water is shallow and ropes are rigged for support. Our pandit and guide stay with you. We do not recommend a dip during monsoon (Jul-Sep) when the rivers run high and fast.
No — Akshay Vat is inside the Allahabad Fort, which is under Indian Army control. It is open to the public only during specific hours and seasons. Our guide checks the latest schedule and gets you in via the official visitor entry. Carry a valid photo ID.
Yes. During Kumbh (next in 2037) and annual Magh Mela (Jan-Feb), prices, hotel availability and crowd patterns change significantly. We strongly recommend booking 60 days in advance. We offer a dedicated Kumbh package with priority parking, reserved hotel rooms near the mela ground, and a dedicated guide.
Be ready to leave your hotel by 5:00 AM (winter) or 4:30 AM (summer). The boat usually pushes off around 5:30-6:00 AM so you reach the confluence right as the sun rises. We share the exact time the evening before based on the official sunrise of that day.
Tell us your dates. We'll handle the hotel, the cab, the e-rickshaw, the guide — and the calm.
