Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to plan, confirm and deliver your travel bookings — nothing more, nothing speculative. The data we collect falls into three buckets:

  • Personal information — your full name, phone number, email address and (when required for hotel check-in) your residential address or ID proof.
  • Booking information — trip details such as pickup and drop locations, dates, vehicle type, hotel preferences, number of travellers, and payment information (transaction ID, last 4 digits of card — we never store full card numbers).
  • Technical information — IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL and cookie identifiers, collected automatically when you visit our site.

You can use most of our website anonymously. Personal details are only requested at the point of making a booking or contacting us.

2

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you share for clear, operational purposes — all tied to delivering the service you booked or improving the next one:

  • Process your bookings and assign vehicles, drivers or hotel rooms.
  • Send confirmations and trip updates via WhatsApp, SMS and email — driver details, hotel vouchers, itinerary changes, etc.
  • Provide customer support when you call, email or message us with questions, changes or complaints.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, payment chargebacks and unauthorised access to accounts.
  • Improve our service by analysing trends, fixing issues and refining the booking flow.
  • Send occasional offers about new packages, seasonal discounts and travel tips — with a clear opt-out link in every message.

We do not use your information for any purpose that isn't listed above without your explicit consent.

3

Sharing of Information

We share the minimum information required to fulfil your booking — and only with parties directly involved in delivering your trip:

  • Drivers — receive only your name and pickup details (location, date, time, phone number for last-mile coordination). They do not see your email, address or payment info.
  • Hotels & resorts — receive your booking name, number of guests and check-in/check-out dates. ID proof is handed over at check-in only.
  • Payment processors (Razorpay, PayU and similar) — receive transaction data needed to settle your payment securely. They are PCI-DSS certified.
  • Legal & regulatory authorities — only when required by Indian law, a valid court order, or to protect against fraud and illegal activity.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers or marketing lists. Ever.

4

Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep things working smoothly. Here's what they do:

  • Session cookies — keep you logged in, remember your booking-form progress and store basic preferences (language, currency).
  • Analytics cookies — Google Analytics helps us understand which pages travellers visit, what they search for and where the site can improve. The data is aggregated and not tied to your name.
  • Ad performance cookies — measure whether our Facebook, Instagram or Google ads reached the right audience. We do not run remarketing campaigns based on sensitive data.

You can disable cookies anytime in your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may break the booking form and your login session.

5

Data Security

We take security seriously — your trust is the most fragile thing we handle. Our safeguards include:

  • SSL/TLS encryption across the entire site, so every form submission and payment flows over an encrypted channel.
  • Secure servers hosted with reputed Indian cloud providers, behind firewalls and intrusion-detection systems.
  • Limited employee access — only support staff who need it can view your booking details, and every access is logged.
  • Regular security audits by independent third parties, plus quarterly internal reviews of access controls and incident logs.

Despite our best efforts, no system is 100% impenetrable. In the rare event of a data breach affecting you, we will notify you within 72 hours and explain what steps you should take.

6

Your Rights

You own your data. As a Your Travel Partner customer, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you, including past booking history.
  • Correct any inaccurate or outdated information in your profile.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal record-keeping obligations such as GST invoices).
  • Opt out of marketing messages anytime — every promotional email and WhatsApp message has an unsubscribe link.
  • Request a data export in a machine-readable format (CSV/JSON), free of charge, once every 12 months.

To exercise any of these rights, email yourtravelpartner@gmail.com from your registered email address. We respond within 7 working days.

7

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 18 to book on their own. Minors are warmly welcomed as travelling guests, but the booking and payment must be made by a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data without parental consent, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8

International Data Transfers

Your data is primarily stored on servers located in India, in compliance with Indian data-protection norms and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

In some cases — for example when we use international cloud services for backups or analytics — data may be transferred outside India. In all such cases, we ensure the recipient applies the same level of protection as we do, through standard contractual clauses and verified compliance certifications.

9

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, new services or evolving regulations. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always show when the most recent version went live.

For major changes — such as a new category of data being collected or shared — we will notify all registered users via email at least 15 days before the change takes effect.

Your continued use of our website and services after a policy update means you accept the revised terms. If you disagree, you can request deletion of your account anytime under Section 6.
